Ian Turner is an Illustrator and Graphic Designer based in Hamilton and Toronto.
He studied History at the University of Guelph, Illustration at Sheridan College, and odd people on the subway.
Ian does Illustration work for editorial, advertising, independent, non-profit and private groups.
His favourite topics to illustrate are nature, history, sports and myth.
Owl Books, Kids Can press, Cottage Life, the Literary Review of Canada, Reader's Digest Canada, Toronto Life, Owl Magazine, Red Bull Canada, Lawnya Vawnya Music Festival, Amsterdam Brewery (in-house) and assisting Ben Weeks has worked on projects for the RGD (Registered Graphic Designers) Design Thinkers Conference, Juniper Park, Algonquin College, Kokanee Brewery, East Side Mario's.
TV & Film
Ian is a DGC (Director’s Guild of Canada) associate member and has brought his skills to Art Departments on shows like Kim’s Convenience (CBC), Make it Pop (Nickelodeon) and The Beaverton (Comedy Network).
