Ian Turner is a Graphic Artist based in Hamilton, Ontario.
He splits his work time between Graphic Design in the film and TV industry in Toronto and freelance Illustration.
Ian studied History at the University of Guelph and Illustration at Sheridan College and odd people on the Toronto Subway.
Ian does Illustration work for editorial, advertising, independent, non-profit and private groups.
His favourite topics to illustrate are nature, history, sports and myth.
Owl Books, Kids Can press, Cottage Life, Insite Design, the Literary Review of Canada, Reader's Digest Canada, Toronto Life, Owl Magazine, Red Bull Canada, Lawnya Vawnya Music Festival, Amsterdam Brewery (in-house) and assisting Ben Weeks has worked on projects for the RGD (Registered Graphic Designers) Design Thinkers Conference, Juniper Park, Algonquin College, Kokanee Brewery, East Side Mario's.
Ian is a member of the DGC (Director’s Guild of Canada) and has brought his skills to Art Departments on shows like Designated Survivor (Netflix), Kim’s Convenience (CBC), Shadowhunters (ABC/Netflix), Make it Pop (Nickelodeon) and The Beaverton (Comedy Network).
